How to Apply: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Choose Your UK University and Program
You must apply to at least one UK university (up to three) through UCAS or directly. You do not need an offer before applying to CSC — you can apply simultaneously.
Step 2: Apply Through the India Nominating Body
India has a designated nominating body that processes Commonwealth Scholarship applications:
- Primary body: Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) — iccr.gov.in
- Also: Ministry of Education (MoE) in some cycles
- Applications are submitted to the CSC portal (cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk) and also notified through ICCR
Step 3: Complete the CSC Online Application
